Brunswick West baugruppen – Information session Sunday September 2nd

Property Collectives is facilitating the creation of an intentional community on a vacant lot on the north eastern corner of the One Planet Living eco-village Westwyck in Brunswick West. We currently have 3 members of the collective and are now looking for another 2 or 3 people to join.

We will use a collaborative approach to develop an intergenerational community that reflects some of the ground breaking built form, environmental and community outcomes that Mike Hill and Lorna Pitt were able to achieve with Westwyck stage 1.

We plan on developing the site into 5 or 6 dwellings with a mix of townhouses and apartments of different sizes and incoporating a number of communal features like a shared garden, roof deck, laundy and storage.

Our current forecast on the predicted cost of these dwellings is:

• around $600k for a 2-bed circa 70 sqm home
• around $850k for a 2 or 3 bed circa 100 sqm home
• around $1.05m for a 3 bed circa 125 sqm home

We are holding an information session on site on Sunday September 2nd from 3pm-5pm for people to meet the current members of the collective, find out more about the project and inspect the site.
