Property Collectives and our network provide citizens, community groups and cohousing groups with a proven platform and operating system to create the homes and communities they want.
We deliver better homes more affordably by enabling like-minded people to collaborate and boost their buying power. Our participatory and structured development process puts people in control over the location, design and quality of their future homes.
As Development Managers we facilitate the end to end process, enabling members to internalise developer profits and avoid having to pay sales, marketing & transaction costs that are passed onto buyers of Off The Plan developments.
We target savings of around 15% of the price of a new home and estimate we have saved members of our collectives an average of 11% on the completed value of their homes.

Since 2010 we have created 10 collectives building 82 homes across Melbourne in suburbs like Northcote, Thornbury, West Melbourne, North Melbourne, Brunswick, Brunswick West, St Kilda & Eltham.
In 2018 we were recognised for our contribution to housing market innovation as recipients of The Urban Developer Award for Excellence in Commercial Innovation.

Our team has over 15 years experience creating and managing building groups worth nearly $100m.
We facilitate the end to end development process, from bringing together building group members and creating Collectives, through to site acquisition, finance and project management.
